Top 10

It's been a while since I posted one of these. Here are the 10 most-played songs on my iPod

10. The Two of Us - The Beatles - Let it Be, Naked.
9. Blue Chair - Elvis Costello - Blood & Chocolate
8. Goodbye - Elton John - Madman Across the Water
7. Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word - Elton John - Blue Moves
6. Question - Old 97's - Satellite Rides
5. If This is It - Huey Louis and the News - Sports
4. Either Side of the Same Town - Elvis Costello - The Delivery Man
3. Verybody's Gotta Learn Sometime - Beck - Soundtrack - The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
2. Hung Up - Madonna - Confessions on a Dancefloor
1. Steppin' Out - Joe Jackson - Steppin' Out - The Very Best of Joe Jackson

Good lord, what a mix! Who knew I was listening to so much Elton John?

I've been old since I was young -- I always have listened to a lot of early Elton. However, I don't think he's in my top ten iPod songs. Elvis has most of those, I think. And since my own blog doesn't seem to want to post, my current top ten are:

10. A Little Bit More -- Tony C. and the Truth
9. American Idiot -- Green Day
8. Reinventing the Wheel -- Glenn Tilbrook
7. Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous -- Good Charlotte
6. Lonely Blue Boy -- Elvis C.
5. Glow -- Alien Ant Farm
4. Pouring Water on a Drowning Man -- Elvis C.
3. Lady -- Lenny Kravitz
2. New Rhythm Method -- Elvis C.
1. By the Light of the Cash Machine -- Glenn Tilbrook

A disclaimer -- I'm not particularly listening to any of these that much at the moment, but since the play count is cumulative, the extreme earworm nature of many of them means that they're going to be up at the top for a long time for crimes they comitted a long time ago. I've actually been listening to a lot of Brutal Youth.
