F+

The math class started out so well! I was having fun, solving problems, and breaking the curve. Then we had a midterm and started the second half of the book.

I've had to work harder recently. A lot harder. This isn't just because I'm distracted by the situation at work. Who knew equations could take up two pieces of paper AND require that you draw pictures? When was this kind of math invented, and why didn't anyone warn me?

We had a quiz on Monday, and I knew I wasn't quite ready, but I wasn't expecting to earn four points out of 15. I must have looked upset about it, because after class the teacher came over and said, "cheer up. It's an F plus!

Oh that's sad!! I can totally relate, since Lauren and I did that for 18 months straight. But at least you get a fancy piece of paper at the end of that.

Okay, now I am listening/being subjected to to Rod Stewart's "If you want my body". I'd rather have the F+.

F's are pedxl!

Well, that's MUCH better than an F-. You're in good there.

But seriously -- if you think you're learning something and you're enjoying it, don't sweat the grade thing. This is an advantage to being a grownup. Life's too short to worry about grades. This one isn't going on your "permanent record".
