CD Mix Challenge - The Track Listing

For those of you who played along with the CD Mix Challenge posted over at Stennieville, here is a track listing of the 2-CD set you got in the mail from me. Sorry if the CDs aren’t all stunning looking – it was all I could do to find a Sharpie to write on them with. But the songs are all choice, don't you agree?

A lot of them are in German. If you'd like a translation of any of them, post in the comments and I'll post translations.
  1. A favorite political track. Intelligent Design – Nick Harper
  2. One of those tracks that will make you tap your feet no matter what.- Hey Ya - Outkast
  3. The song you'd use to tell someone you love them. By Your Side - Squeeze
  4. A song from a Broadway musical or a film soundtrack. Mein Herr - Cabaret
  5. A song that forced you to sit down and analyze its lyrics. Free Will - Rush
  6. A song you like that a 5-year-old would like too. Ruldolph – Max Raabe
  7. A song that makes you drive too fast. Got the Time – Joe Jackson
  8. A kick-ass cover song. Take Me with U – Marshall Crenshaw
  9. A song that both you and your grandparents (would probably) like. In einer kleinen Konditorei (In a little coffee shop)– Max Raabe
  10. A song you really liked when you were 14-16 that you don't hate now. Heartbreaker Pat Benetar
  11. A break-up song. Lover Please – Melissa Etheridge
  12. The song that that would start the opening credits in the soundtrack to a movie about your life. Aquarius/Let the Sun shine In – 5th Dimension
  13. An awesome live track. Guitar Man(Whole Lotta Love Mix) – Nick Harper
  14. An a cappella song. Pretending to Care – Todd Rundgren
  15. A good song from a genre of music that no one could guess that you liked. – Verpisst Dich (Piss off) – Tic Tac Toe
  16. A song you wish you could play, on the instrument of your choice. Me and the Bean – Spoon.
  17. A favorite artist duo collaboration. Stuck In a Wind Up- Clem Curtis & Lord Large
  18. A favorite song that you completely disagree with (politically, morally, commonsenically, religiously etc.) Under My Thumb - The Rolling Stones
  19. A song you love that a friend introduced you to. A***es – The Damnwells
  20. A song you wouldn't play in front of your Mom (if your Mom will listen to anything, then go with a song you wouldn't play in front of my Mom -- if you know what's good for you) Mein Hund ist Schwül (My dog is gay) – Die Ärtzte
  21. Song that you like but would play loud to annoy the neighbors: Living on my Own – Freddie Mercury
  22. A favorite song that's in a foreign language. Grossvater (Grandfather)- STS
  23. A favorite track from an outfit considered a "super-group." Who do you think you are? Spice girls
  24. A song that makes you want to drink more beer. Hash Pipe - Weezer
  25. Your favorite song at this moment in time. Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime - Beck

I've received no CD mixes yet myself, but I'm really looking forward to them!

I like to think of the movie to your life story, you groovin' around onscreen to Aquarius.

Fun CD!

(btw, an embouchure is how your mouth grips a clarinet. mine is normally weak and wrong, btw)

this would require me being able to remember names of songs and singers? I can barely remember my own name.

I'm thinking I need to hear the "dog is gay" song.
