BBC NEWS | Americas | US court bans juvenile executions

While this is a good thing, it is really, really sad that it makes the news for the first time in 2005. Shouldn't the death penalty have been abolished for everyone around the Age of Reason?

Ok, so some people believe that whole "eye for an eye" crap, but children? The US has been excecuting kids, and this Judge Kennedy expects a pat on the back for finally seeing the light.

Good job court. This is one better late than never step toward being a part of the civilized world.
