Sarcastic Geek

I'm revamping my company's website at the moment, but unfortunately, I only get to write the content. We have a graphic artist designing the layout and a geek doing the coding (all on staff). I guess this is leading me to be somewhat unrealistic in planning the content for the pages.

I shot off an email to the geek with some text, explaining what the artist and I were picturing the layout to be like. Here's the reply I got:

You are so far ahead of your time that you are standing behind everyone else. Someday the world will realize your vision. Especially when everyone starts using a 3000 x 2000 resolution
As funny as the geek is, and as much as I appreciate this, I still hold that division of labor can really suck.

Yeah, I know how it is. Sometimes I forget that not everyone has the 24 inch monster on their desks the way I do at work. Good answer from the geek, though -- it made me laugh, which not much has in the last few days.
