Franz Ferdinand

Rosa and I decided to go out for a walk for a change. Both of us generally work through lunch, you see, because we are worker bees with a shitload of stuff to do. We didn't walk very far - just a couple of blocks to the Virgin record store. I'm on a total new music binge. I'm serious - there isn't a CD that can hold my attention for more than a day right now.

Browsing the new music selections, I made a wonderful find - Franz Ferdinand. They are an apparently new band out of Scotland. Imagine Blurr meets the Ramones. Good stuff! Why hadn't I heard of these guys yet? They are just what I needed to get through this gloomy August workday.

You would have heard of these guys if you ever read my blog! I blogged about them a few weeks ago!

Oh.. Nyssa.. Sorry! I try to read your blog regularly, but then you go so long without saying anything, so I quit reading every day. I'll go check you out now. Anyhow, they are awesome, are they not?

Good Lord! What a change! I like it, I like the new look! I'm soothed.

Hey, Nyssa, *I* knew Franz Ferdinand from your blog. My sister was playing me the CD in her car and kept saying, "I know these, guys, where do I know these guys from?" Then it finally hit me. YOU.

Kudos on the face lift, Mitchie. (and I know you'd never do Pat if you had the prospect of you, me, Glenn, and leather)

Bet

Ooh! Cool new blog, Michelle!

Franz Ferdinand is great! We'll have to do a CD borrowing swap some time... I got an iPod and listen to everything on it. It's truly life-changing!

Hey, Anonymous, how can I do a CD swapping with you if I don't know who you are??

My 13-year-old brother saw my Franz Ferdinand CD on my shelf and said, "They're overplayed."

He'll enter high school next year, and already is practicing to be a hipster. That little shit.
