Things that bothered me about this year's Academy Awards:

1. This year's in color? Neutral. Not always flattering, ladies.

2. The hair - too many people either didn't bother to COMB their hair, and did you see all the roots? Julia Roberts and Scarlett Johansson, for example. If you are going to be on that show as a presenter weeks after dyingyour hair, cover your damned dark roots.

3. It must have been very cold at that awards show. Lots and lots of nipple action going on. Ladies, if you are wearing a sheer dress, wear a bra. If you are any female who is not built like Jada Pinkett Smith - WEAR A BRA.

4. Peter Jackson and his wife are disgusting. They obviously don't think being on international TV winning the top award in their field over and over again is worth bathing or wearing clothing that fits - I mean, come on, Peter didn't even have his top collar buttoned and the entire collar was crooked. His belly was popping out of his shirt buttons.)

5. Bill Murray is one SORE loser.


Things I liked about the show:

1. The song sang by Will Ferrell and Jack Black actually made me giggle a few times.

2. Kudos to Billy Crystal. He did a fine job, when he wasn't being bland.

3. Adrien Brody's Binanca break and his very funny, lewd, "come up here Charlize Theron" .

4. Annie Lenox and Elvis Costello - Sure, the Elv's contribution was kind of out of place and embarrassing, but it was good to see him on TV.

5. The montage on Katherine Hepburn - that was really done quite well, and was a sweet tribute.


Oh, and Girl With A Pear Earring totally, totally got ripped off.
