PromoGuy's Monday Mission 3.33

1. Are you good at responding to emails and/or Blog comments? I think so. I may not answer the same day I receive a message or a comment, but I generally do respond.

2. Does it make you crazy when people won't reply to your emails even though you know good and well that they are reading them? That really would bother me, but lucky for me, I haven't had that problem in my personal life yet. Now at work - that's another story. I can always call or drop by the desk of someone who doesn't respond to me at work.

3. I recently watched the FOX special "101 Things Removed from the Human Body" which was quite disgusting in a can't-help-but-watch kind of way. It got me to thinking about many of the accidents I had as a child. I remember climbing over a fence after T-ball and catching my palm on the top of the chain-link fence. Went through my hand and tore it right open. What's the most unusual thing you've had inside your body? This question has so MANY nasty possibilities as answers. I've never had anything like a fence post or a coke bottle in my body. In fact, the only thing I can think of, as an answer to this question would be the few times I've had bugs fly up my nose.

4. What person from your past would you most like to run into and visit with for an afternoon? Why them? What person would you like to not ever see again as long as you live? How come? Hmm... I think I would most like to run into Christine. She was my best friend in first and second grade. I moved away, far, far away, and although we wrote to each other for about 16 years before we drifted apart. Our parents never let us call each other, and I never saw her again. I'd really like to know who she's become and what she's doing in life.

Now as for the person I'd never want to see again -- there are several really. There is the nasty, ugly, two faced Bulgarian bitch who tried to come between me and the love of my life du jour. But the reason I don't want to see her again, is because I told her that if she ever crossed my path again, I'd kill her. She believed me, and I'd hate for her to find out I was a liar.

Then there is my former boss, A.K.A. Godzilla. He made my life a living hell for four years. Every day without him is a day full of sunshine.

One of those two would do just fine.

5. What was the last bad meal you (or your special someone) paid too much for? What's the story there? Probably the greasy, nasty Thai food I had the other day at My Thai.

6. If out-of-the-blue you were forced to find a new career, if there was just suddenly no need for your field of expertise, just what job do you imagine you would seek out? Do you have any skills you can "fall back on?" (If you stay at home or are a student, adjust to fit your situation)
The answer to that question is my current job. My job doesn't have anything to do with any of my degrees, and to get a job in my field, I'd have to wait for someone to die.

7. If you were to open up your own restaurant, what would it be called and what type of food would you serve? Describe the "feel" of the place (the decor, the music, etc). It would be called the Best Eclectic Vegetarian Restaurant in the Whole Wide World. It would be very comfy and cozy, but somehow elegant and classy. I would hire Molly Katzen to do the menu. I love her cookbooks.
