More fruit news....

I learned something shocking today - and I learned it the hard way: $1 a pop. Guavas are not the sweet, delicious tasting fruit I thought! Sure, they smell enticingly wonderful, but the truth is, they have horrible, hard seeds that are impossible to separate from the flesh. They are bitter and have an odd texture. Thank goodness I only bought two.
