And now, just for Bet - it is the Friday Five!

1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country? Hmm... Out of my home state? I think that was in April, when I went to Virginia. The last time I was out of the country was my trip to London last January.

2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling? It was during this last trip to London. I only really know one person in the UK really well - a woman named Lisa, with whom I'd shared an apartment in Austria for a year. Although she lives nowhere near London, and despite the fact (or because of it) that I didn't tell her I'd be in the country, I ran into her on the street. I felt horrible because I hadn't notified her, but this was a last-minute trip, and I didn't want to call her, because the friend I'd gone there with didn't know her. She was shocked to see me, as I was to see her, and I think she may have forgiven me for blowing her off.

3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go? New Zealand and Australia. I'd spend at least a year on this trip.

4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car? By plane, but only because they take you further than the other two.

5. What's the next place on your list to visit? Most likely, California. A very good friend of mine's wife just had a baby I'd like to meet, and my cousin is getting married out there. Before this trip though, I guess I'll go to Florida to see my grandmother.
