PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.30

1. What is your favorite snack food? Does anyone you know have weird tastes in snacks? First off, I do NOT have weird taste in snacks. I love Doritos, I am addicted to Doritos, but since I've discovered this about myself, I just stay away from them completely. This is a real serious addiction: I eat them until I puke. So instead I eat grapes and cherries, or tortilla chips and salsa.

2. Ever caught yourself saying "well it can't get any worse" and it does? What's the story there? No, I don't say anything like that usually, because I know it can ALWAYS get worse. But it does make me think of the line from Young Frankenstein: It could be worse, it could be raining!

3. I have a super-short attention span, and it always was my downfall in school, especially math class. What's your attention span like and how has it served you?
I have an extremely erratic attention span. Sometimes I can sit and work for hours on end, sometimes I can't think about one thing for more than 30 seconds. I do have a hard time sitting still, which I guess has to do with the attention span thing, so I am always fidgeting. That has gotten me in trouble on many occasions, especially in college. I was always drumming on the desk with something or other, or taping my foot. I do the same during staff meetings at work too. Drives our VP crazy.

4. Do you believe in the existence of extra-terrestrials? If you mean "aliens" no, I don't believe that. But there are millions of galaxies in the universe and I can't believe ours is the only one sustaining life.

5. What do you think of the whole "crop circles" phenomenon? I think that is a load of BS, that's what I think it is.

6. Ever had a time where you begin visiting with someone you don't know all that well and just find you "click" like long lost pals? Tell me about how that came to happen, and who was it? My first year in gradschool I have to say I clicked instantly with two fellow first years, Paul and Glen. We never really introduced ourselves, we just started chatting and made plans together for the evening we met. I am still very close with Paul, I talk to him all the time, and this despite the fact that his wife hates me. Glen and his wife live in Michigan, and I don't speak to them much. But when we see each other, (I'm good friends with his wife too) it is like no time went by.

7. When I was at the cemetery a few weeks ago, I began to recall my Dad's funeral so many years ago. It is so vivid, sitting there in the family room as his friends passed by and paid their respects, the music, his face, the tears. What funeral do you remember most vividly? Probably my mother's because it was most recent. I remember certain details from my father's funeral, but not everything. I don't tend to remember much from overly emotional events.

BONUS: How can I forget you, girl? Oh, don't you worry your little head about that! Once you sober up, you won't remember a thing that happened tonight.
