It's The Friday Five!

When was the last time you...

1. ...sent a handwritten letter? Do post-it notes count? I wrote some notes on a post-it today. I also wrote about 5 sentences on my Niece's brithday card last month. If neither of these count, then I would say that the last handwritten letter I wrote was in 1997.

2. ...baked something from scratch or made something by hand? Three weeks ago I had a bunch of people over for dinner and I made Paletschinken by hand.

3. ...camped in a tent? August, 1986. I went on a week-long camping trip with my host family at St. Juncal Beach in Portugal.

4. ...volunteered your time to church, school, or community? Wednesday. Every Wednesday, actually. I volunteer three hours a week teaching English to immigrants.

5. ...helped a stranger? I work in the ultry-touristy part of the city, and I am forever helping tourists find stuff, showing them the right busses and stuff like that.
