Seven Deadly Sins

As much as I would love to lie and say that I made this MEME up, I must admit that I found it while surfing various Xanga sites Binky had linked to. This is a long one, but it is creative and depending on how you answer it, oh so revealing! As all MEMEs require, I must tag someone, right? I have about 6 I'd like to tag, but that's a sin, so I'll just go for one. I tag Betster, who, in turn, must also tag just one person, and so on.

ANGER
1. Who did you last get angry with?
My boss, for being a poor manager.

2. What is your weapon of choice?
I dream of owning a teser

3. Would you hit a member of the opposite sex?
If provoked, sure.

4. How about of the same sex?
If provoked, sure.

5. Who was the last person who got really angry at you?
Me? I'm all sweetness and light! Ok, quit laughing. I guess I'd either have to say 1L or Lauren.

6. What is your pet peeve?
There are really many to pick from, but right now, I'd say obnoxious cell phone users.

7. Do you keep grudges, or can you let them go easily?
I'm the worst kind. I pretend to let things go, but I secretly hold grudges.

SLOTH
1. What is one thing you're supposed to do daily that you haven't done in a while?
Work out. I haven't done so since last Friday. I got an enormous blister that afternoon that popped and tore. It has been healed enough to wear shoes since Wednesday, but I'm still using it as an excuse.

2. What is the latest you've ever woken up? Probably 10:30 or 11. That's rare though.

3. Name a person you've been meaning to contact, but haven't?

5. Have you ever watched an infomercial all the way through (one of the long ones?)
Yes. I've never been moved to buy anything off of an informercial, but I really am fascinated by them. Such bad acting!

6. When was the last time you got a good workout in?
A week ago today.

7. How many times did you hit the snooze button on your alarm clock today?
Actually I don't usually do that. I have the alarm clock all the way across the room to prevent that. In fact, today I woke up 10 minutes before my alarm.

GLUTTONY
1. What is your overpriced yuppie beverage of choice?
Starbucks Lattés. A grande, skim please.

2. Meat eaters: white meat or dark meat?
Not a carnivore.

3. What is the greatest amount of alcohol you've had in one sitting/outing/event?
I am unable to answer that question, which I guess is an answer in itself.

4. Have you ever used a professional diet company?
Nope.

5. Do you have an issue with your weight?
Yes.

6. Do you prefer sweets, salty foods, or spicy foods?
Spicy!

7. Have you ever looked at a small house pet or child and thought "LUNCH"?
No, vegetarians don't tend to eat pets or people.


LUST
1. How many people have you seen naked (not counting movies/family)?
Well, this is also hard to answer, because, I've traveled around Europe and stayed in youth hostels. They have communal showers.

2. How many people have seen YOU naked (not counting physicians/family)?
Well there are those communal showers I mentioned above...

Yes.

Well duuhhh... I'm a little old to not have done it, don't you think?

Well, are eyes a body part? If not I'd say hands or Adam's apple.

Thankfully, no.

Yup. When I was a teacher in a foreign land, they made me have not one, but two AIDS tests.

GREED

World Market

3. If you had 1 million dollars, what would you do with it?
Pay down the mortgage and save the rest. Sorry if that's boring, but $1 million just isn't that much money anymore.

4. Would you rather be rich, or famous?
Rich. Knowing my luck, I'd end up being famous for something horrendous.

5. Would you accept a boring job if it meant you would make megabucks?
15 years ago I would have said "hell no!" to this one. But I have the job I do because it pays decently, not because I love it.

6. Have you ever stolen anything?
Yes.

7. How many MP3's are on your hard drive?
Not many, because I'm an MP4 kind of girl. I have 1736 of those.

PRIDE
1. What's one thing you have done that you're most proud of?
Survival

2. What's one thing you have done that your parents are most proud of?
I wouldn't know. Probably complete grad school or buy my own place.

3. What's one thing you would like to accomplish in your life?
Be truly happy - not one of those "it's been a good afternoon" kind of happy things, but really happy with life, the universe, and everything.

4. Do you get annoyed by coming in second place?
Yes

5. Have you ever entered a contest of skill, knowing you were of much higher skill than all the other competitors?
A true competition? Probably not. But if playing Monopoly with the kids or taking a basic German quiz at a German festival (I'm fluent already) counts as competition, then yes.

*Sigh* Yeah.... in high school.

7. What did you do today that you're proud of?
Keep the expectations low kids. I'm very proud of myself for getting out of bed.

A job that would allow me to travel to more exciting destinations.
