Dumbass
Yes, its true, I am a dumbass. I deleted the wrong year's archives. You'll find everything from 2004, but nothing from 2005. Why the links won't go away is beyond me. I deleted them, but they won't get gone.
I'm very sleepy, so there isn't anything interesting to say, so I'll leave you with this: While the US is busy castigating Dick Durban for comparing American interrogators at Guantanamo Bay to Nazis, Soviet gulags and Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pol, my former NPR station is busy making the story sound even more idiotic. (I was in a colleagues car - I was not listening on purpose!)
This morning they announced that senator Durban had compared American interrogators to Nazis AT Soviet gulags. And they don't understand why I don't want to give them money.

Today Durbin was weeping to the national media, and apolgizing, saying that he might have gone a leeeeeetle bit overboard. That's okay, dear. I'm sure that when the lovely insurgents capture some nice young men and women from your constituency they'll be MUCH nicer when they "interrogate" them.
