Birthday Blog

So yesterday was the Big Birthday. I'm sure there is going to be a lot about that coming in the future - I am stunned that I have made it this far, and shocked that I have managed to achieve relatively nothing in the past five years.

Doom and gloom aside, I suppose the day wasn't so bad. I got some cheery emails, a bunch of cards, in order of their arrival:

Thank you to everyone, I am overwhelmed with excitement and surprise. I tore open the Neil Finn CD right away. It is a couple of years old already, but somehow I hemmed and hawed about buying it. Now I don't have to hem. I am on the first listen still, and am enjoying it. He's done better albums, but the voice is still golden. I'll do my amazon.com shopping this weekend.
