Thank GOODNESS the cankers seem to be going into some sort of less painful stage - I think they might be going away. It must be the yogurt I have been consuming in absurd quantities. But now I am having stomach problems, and all I can think about is that worm that has been in the news lately, that can grow up to several feet long INSIDE YOUR BODY Now I've never been to guinea or have any of the symptoms, but I do have an active imagination.

Here is a nice, sarcastic remark from Katha Pollitt, a writer for The Nation that should help flush the wormy image out of your mind.
