... and the winner is

Welcome to Sunday. The day I post about the coolest sounding language and their correspondingly good looking speakers:

1. Dutch. Yes, Dutch. This is the absolute coolest sounding language in the world. Just hearing someone say anything in Dutch, anything at all " Je bent een Kakerlaak" (you are a cockroach), for example, makes me smile. It is stuck somewhere between German and English, way back from when all three were the same language, sprouting off into dialects. It has the most guttural sounds in the world, lots of stretched out vowel sounds, and an intonation to die for. This language is not just cool sounding, it is down right adorable.

And as for the Dutch men? YUM! Tall, sometimes blonde, more often dark-haired, light-eyed and they have a relaxed, humorous affect that makes them irresistible. Now while I've never been lucky enough to have a Dutch boy say he loved me, but if one of them looked me in the eyes and said " Ik hou van jou" I think I might burst out in laughter
