Samuel L. Jackson is screwed. I cannot see him in a movie without yelling "SHAFT!" That isn't the only reason he's screwed you see, because I think he's also forgotten that he can play other characters.

For example, did you know Shaft is in the new Star Wars movie? He was truly a valiant Jedi, don't get me wrong - but I spent the whole movie just waiting for him to answer someone with "damn right!" He must have been on some antibiotics for an itchy rash, because he hit on no women! None! And the women, not interested in him. (!?!) He did kick some ass in that movie, let me tell you. I just can't believe he agreed to share the screen with the computer generated racist slur that is Jar Jar Binks.

Some fun movies are coming out this summer. I love Mike Meyers, and you can bet I'll be watching Goldmember. I know it will be sophomoric, silly and full of references to penises, but I'll have to watch it. Men in Black II is coming out! I had no idea they were doing a sequel! Hopefully it doesn't disappoint, cuz I'll be there watching it.

So today was really a lovely day, let me tell you. It was WARM! The sky was blemish free, and I spent the whole day in Evanston, not cleaning my apartment. There were a strange amount of people at the beaches though - even though they don't open until tomorrow, and the water temperature is in the low 50s.

Hmm.. it seems today's blog is nothing but a little non-sequitor.
