The First Sounds of Spring
Tonight, right now at 9:51 pm, I heard the first sounds of spring in the city.
Did I hear birds chirping?
No.
Did I hear a lawnmower?
No.
Did I hear a loud band on a rooftop?
No.
So what did I hear?
I heard the ice cream man. And it is 34 degrees outside on a TUESDAY evening at 9:51. And it is dark out. What on Earth customers was he hoping to get?

oh no - not THE ice cream truck?? So soon?
Ooh. Me. When it's cold, that's when it's time for a rich chocolate.
Anytime's the right time for ice cream, baby!
Have them drive here. I loves me some ice cream all year. (Then again, it maybe gets like 25 degrees at its coldest in my neck of the woods?)
