Another MEME

Oy. I am in the mood to blog, but I don't have anything to say - well, actually, that's not completely true. Something utterly fantastic happened at work today. I walked into a meeting with my supervisor and our boss, hoping to work out a few kinks in a publication, and walked out with ... are you ready for this?! AN EXPENSE ACCOUNT! I can't wait to take someone to lunch, all by myself, without my boss tagging along to pick up the tab.

But that's not enough of a blog. Lucky for me, Flipsy has a brand new MEME going on. Now I have a big honking blog entry for today.

1. Nervous habits? OH, I'm a nervous Nelly (not a nervous William, Bet, don't you worry) I get eye twitches and lip twitches, but that's not a habit, is it? I fidget a lot and drum my fingers.

2. Are you double jointed? Yes, just the fingers though

3. Can you roll your tongue? Yes again!

4. Can you raise one eyebrow at a time? Again YES! But just the left one.

5. Can you blow spit bubbles? Eww - I don't think I've ever even tried.

6. Can you cross your eyes? No. I'm an eye-crossin' failure!

7. Tattoos? Eww - no.

8. Piercings? Yes. Three in the right ear, two in the left.

9. Do you make your bed daily? Yes, but I've got a very easy bed to make. I use a duvet and no top sheet. Put the pillows on the top of the bed, fold the duvet over.

CLOTHES
10. Which shoe goes on first? Probably the right one.

11. Speaking of shoes, have you ever thrown one at anyone? Only in my dreams.

12. On the average, how much money do you carry? Why? Are you planning on mugging me?

13. What jewelry do you wear 24/7? A silver earring on the very tippity top of my right ear and my mother's engagement ring.

14. Favorite piece of clothing? All of my shoes.

FOOD
15. Do you twirl your spaghetti or cut it? I'm a twirli-girl

16. Have you ever eaten Spam? No, thank goodness. Never ever.

17. Do you use extra salt on your food? Not usually, no.

18. How many cereals in your cabinet? I have some oatmeal, the kind you have to cook, but no cereals.

19. What's your favorite beverage? I love fru-fru water, but I don't know if I have a favorite beverage per se - I mean, I like G&Ts and I like orange juice, and I like coffee and all kinds of teas.

20. What's your favorite fast food restaurant? Probably Burrito Beach. I live near a lot of Thai places - they're better, and cheaper, than most fast food places. Mmm... Pad Thai....

21. Do you cook? Better than you!

22. How often do you brush your teeth? Twice a day at least.

23. Hair drying method? Electric

24. Have you ever colored/highlighted your hair? Better yet, ask me if I remember my natural hair color.

25. Do you swear? Fuck no! I'd never be so crass.

26. Do you ever spit? Well, I certainly don't swallow.

27. Animal? I love animals. Do I really have to pick one? I can't decide - penguins or puppies?

28. Food? Right now it seems to be three-bean chili. I've been eating that a lot.

43. Reading? I'm reading Christa Wolf's diary, Crucial Confrontations by Patterson, Grenny, and McMillan, and some other book that I'm just not that into.

44. Do you regularly check yourself out in store windows/mirrors? All the time, baby.

45. What color is your bedroom? The walls are white, the furniture is cherry.

46. Do you use an alarm clock? Yes, but only so I can sleep better at night

48. What's your sleeping position? On my stomach or on my side.

49. Even in hot weather do you use a blanket? Or a sheet, yes.

50. Do you snore? If it is allergy season

54. How about with the light on? Nope. That doesn't happen. In fact, my body responds to light all too well. I wake up with the sun.
