About the Boy - I'm going to call this one "case closed". The boy and I managed to do nothing in December that we'd planned to do. I saw him recently at an office-sponsored party, and it took him a long time to be able to approach me, even though I'd gone right up to where he was talking to some of the people I am friendly with. Even then, looking at me when he talked was out of the question. After he pounded, and I mean pounded a few drinks, he started to chat with me, and even offered to buy me a drink. Who needs it?
The next day we took the same train home. Talk about awkward conversation. I was trying to keep the conversation light and business like, since my crush has been, well, crushed. I told him about the burglary though, just to see if he'd give a crap. His answer? "Yeah, well, if that ever happened to me, I'd hit the guys with a baseball bat." What a goddamned stud. I need a new crush, and I'll be accepting applications through this blog.
About the Burglary - I'm markedly calmer this week. No more constant shaking: I was beginning to think I had Parkinson's Disease or something. The only real problem I'm having now is at night. When it's dark and quiet and I'm trying to get to sleep, every little bump in the night wakes me up.
I know that nobody is getting through two doors constructed from reinforced steel and iron, built into two massive steel door frames. But what about the front door? Or the windows! Someone could break the windows! Needless to say, I'm speaking with an alarm company tonight.
The police called me up on Sunday to let me know that they hadn't run the fingerprints yet. Unbelievable. 10 days after the fact, and they still hadn't done anything. The friendly detective assigned to my case asked me to describe some of the jewelry that had been stolen, because he skims the pawn shops on his beat. Not that I have much hope, but that poor detective got more detail than he was hoping for.
About the Blog - For some reason, the Blog cannot be edited once it is posted. I can't see my old posts through Blogger. So you know, ignore the typos, ok? The Website is up and working, but the left hand menu seems to not want to let it's items open up in their own browser or like they are supposed to, in the main frame. I'm guessing my Web Host has something to do with this. If it continues, I'll kill the frames. All of 'em.
About some more blogging? Yeah, I'll get to that. Nobody cries out when I don't blog anymore, which I guess is a good thing. I feel all relaxed about it. The new season of the Apprentice starts this week, but I'm not sure if I want to commit to another 16 weeks of recapping it.

How about the nice detective? But you can have my boy. I think I'm going to kill him. Or explode. I think I'll just keep FantasyBoy, aka George C. The care and feeding is much easier.
So where do I fill out an application to be your new crush?
Bet
