Auntie Griselda
Actually, the purpose of this post wasn't to talk about the Monkees, but I turned on the TV just now, and they are on Channel 23!
The website and blog are apparently going to be behaving rather strangely for awhile. Either Blogger or 4D Webhosting is having some kind of problem that is not only rendering my FrontPage extensions useless, but is making my blog impossible to edit. Once I hit publish, what I say is out there, and I can't change it. Kind of frightening if you think about it. Note to self, no more drunken posts! This being Sunday, neither company has answered my distress call.
Now, I don't know if anyone actually goes to my website, but if you do, you'll notice that I've updated the movies page for 2005 - I'll be rating the films I view with a 5-star system this year. I'm also going to try to add comments about the movies this year - not full-fledged reviews, mind you, but just comments.
(As I write this, more television excitement. Mork and Mindy is now on! I think Channel 23 has gone retro!)
Where were we? yes.. movies. The movie page is now here:
http://www.fredthewebsite.com/2005_movie_list.htm
I'm making it my goal to watch 70 movies this year. That's 10 more than in '04.
Back to Mork and Mindy - this is an episode I don't remember, but it seems to be an early one. Mindy and her father have this record store, and the real bastard of a landlord being underhanded in trying to get Mindy and her father to move the store, so he can charge higher rent to other tenants. The landlord's name is Mr. Wanker. How did they get away with that in the '80's???
I could go on, but I won't. After all, this post could disappear the moment I hit publish.

You know, come to think of it, "Mork and Mindy" and "Perfect Strangers" are pretty much the same show. "Perfect Strangers" just had a much cuter couple.
