Well now. I just got an email from Dave, The Real Estate Guy - and it seems the deal on one of the condos I wanted to look at that had gone to contract before I got to see it, came back on the market. So on Sunday I'll be going to check it out. It sounds like a great place on paper. The neighborhood is very close to where I am now, which is good, the layout sounds very good - a real kitchen, a real living room/dining room combo, and two real bedrooms. Keep your fingers crossed.

Today was an absolutely hellish day at work, and I'm going to have to go to the office Sunday morning to get some work done. As for tonight, I am pretty braindead and so, I am going to rely on the Friday Five this week for Friday's post. It is nice and fluffy.

1. What was the last song you heard? Lines in the Suit - by Spoon. Erika turned me on to them recently, and I can't get enough of them.

2. What were the last two movies you saw? Last weekend I saw The Pianist. The weekend before that, I saw Chicago. Both films worth seeing, but for completely different reasons, as you may already understand.

3. What were the last three things you purchased? Today I bought my lunch - Cosi's three bean chili, and on the way to work I bought some CVS ibuprofen and a sympathy card.

4. What four things do you need to do this weekend? I really need to do some laundry (which I am actually doing right now), I need to answer some emails, because I have been sitting so long in front of my computer at work, that the last thing I want to do is to come home and spend MORE time in front of it, writing emails. I also need to go to work on Sunday, and I need to see the condo mentioned above. I have a few more things on the "need" list, but everything else is stuff I pretty much want to do, like Saturday afternoon at poundsqueeze.

5. Who are the last five people you talked to? *sigh* again, this is work-related. I turned off the phone the second I got home from work, so I haven't spoken to anyone since then. I am trying to think of a way to tell you creatively who these people were, because I don't want to use work names in my blog. So let's just do this: I talked to my boss, my favorite colleague, the visual arts specialist, our secretary and the guy we've been referring to as "Scooter".
