Wow. Thanks for the comments and the guestbook entries. I feel the love.
Actually, I am doing a trial of Urchin Webstats this week. So if you are coming to visit me, I'll know about it. Conversely, if you aren't checking my site every day, I'll also know about that.
So, better late than never, here is the Friday Five
1. What was/is your favorite subject in school? Why? English - because I really loved and did well in literature and writing.
2. Who was your favorite teacher? Why? Mr. Fischbach - I had him for Freshman Biology and Junior. Chemestry. He was a great teacher! He was very upbeat, never boring, always very creative and patient. He was also very funny and extremely political. He used to weave political comentary into his lessons, and tried to get us to be critical of authority -- he used to enjoy it if we challenged our grades, because it meant we weren't just accepting his rule blindly.
3. What is your favorite memory of school? 2nd grade. I lived in CT, in a very rural part. I went to a one room school house with all the kids in the area in first through 6th grade. I had a best friend who I did all my school work with. Everything was very hands on, level specific, not grade specific.
4. What was your favorite recess game? Chinese Jumprope!
5. What did you hate most about school? Cliques, peer pressure and power hungry teachers.
