Good morning, to you - and you know who you are. Enjoy this: Friday Five!

1. Would you say that you're good at keeping in touch with people? I used to be much better at it - before email. Now I tend to get lazy about answering long messages and put them off.. and eventually forget about them. I would say that on an scale of 1-10, I'm about a 6.

2. Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person? Why? I use them all, actually, but I prefer telephone. But that isn't always possible. So I tend to fall back on e-mail.

3. Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it? Yeah, I use IM, and it is on when I am just surfing around the net. I used to use the Yahoo messenger a lot, but I am boycotting them as much as possible. Since Erika and Joe only use that messenger, I have to call them or e-mail them.

4. Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away? *sigh* Most of them live far away. VERY far away.

5. Are you an "out of sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance makes the heart grow fonder"? I hate " out of sight, out of mind". Unfortunately, that happens. But I also am starting to understand that some very intense, close friendships aren't supposed to last a lifetime. In anycase, I'd have to say that I don't believe in either of those. Each case runs its own course.
