PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.34

1. What do you do to make things better when you feel sad and/or lonely? I just stick out my chin, and grin and saaayyyyy ooohhhhhh.. The sun'll come out, tomorrow....

2. Are you a "touchy-feely" person? That is, do you like to touch people you don't know that well? And on the flipside of that, do you like being touched by someone you aren't close with? No, I don't. If I know people or are attracted to them, a little bit of hands-on action is welcome.. or with kids, I can deal with them, especially the niece and nephews hugging and kissing on me. But in general, I don't like to touch other people or have them touch me. It makes me nervous.

3. Do you like to have "me" time, time to yourself to be alone and relax? Or do you prefer to just do your own thing with someone else in the room? When was the last "me" time you got and what did you do? Yes, I thrive on "me" time, and I most days I make sure I get some. I had "me" time today, when I did my laundry and cooked and ate dinner. Íf I go too many days in a row without ME time and have to spend intensive time with people, I freak out. Check out my July 4th weekend Blog if you want to see what I mean. However, I can create " me time" when needed, even on a day where there will be no free time, by listening to a good CD on the bus or train to work. If I close my eyes, I can convince myself that I am alone.

4. Generally speaking, how do you feel about the concept of marriage? Are you the marrying type? Do you think the act of getting married means something today or is it simply just "a piece of paper?" LEAVE ME ALONE! I am so sick about being asked about marriage. "When are you getting married?" "Why are you not married?" "Are you TRYING to be a spinster?" GAAH! So I guess I don't consider myself the marrying type. Let's just say I'm not the kind of woman you want to promise to spend the rest of your life with. However, I guess matrimony serves its purpose and makes some people happy. There are people who take the committment seriously and it serves them and their children well. More power to them. 5. That said, as many as 25 states have passed legislation regulating who they believe should be the "marrying type." What are your thoughts on the banning of same-sex marriages? I think that is utter bullshit. Why should the government have a say in who anyone chooses to spend their lives with?

6. If there was one law you had the ability to create or change, what would it be? I can't decide on just ONE.. I would like to see the Right to Bear Arms repealed, I would like to instate a direct vote, I would like to abolish testing cosmetics and other useless items on animals, I would love to see manditory recycling. I think right now, what is strongest on my mind is Kyoto. I would like to make it impossible for Bush to reject signing that little bit of paper.

7. What would you like someone visiting your Blog for the first time to know about you? Now is your chance! I don't bite.. unless inebriated and provoked.
