I, too, looked forward to my oral surgery as a way of getting out of work when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. Yesterday a co-worker was explaining her rather frightening-sounding "women's troubles" (excessive bleeding), and saying that her doctor told her to stay home and lie down. All I could think was, "man, I wish I could stay home and lie down!" We are in the same boat, Dishy one.
Hope your orals went well. A day off and good drugs sounds pretty exciting if it wasn't for the possible pain. I'm such a chicken!
