Re Butt Al

I was just reading my thousands of comments, and I noticed that Bet left me a couple of comments about my movie choices:

By the way, we seem to have vastly different opinions where movies are concerned. Isn't that weird? We could never go to the movies together and be happy! Well, unless we sat in the back row and made out.

Well, we agreed on "Nowhere In Africa."

Oh, by the way. HOW COULD YOU NOT HAVE LOVED "AMERICAN SPLENDOR????

I would like to address these comments:

1. Anytime Bet wants to get busy in the back of the theater with me, I'm there!

2. We do have very different tastes in movies, but then again, I think I expect too much from movies. I studied literature for way too many years to just appreciate stories for their entertainment value. I have to dissect the fun out of everything. Also, my sense of humor seems to be on its last legs. I don't know when this happened, or how long it has been dying, but the truth is, I just don't find things funny the way I used to.

3. American Splendor depressed the crap out of me.
