PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.41
1. What's the most expensive meal you've ever eaten? What was the occasion? Was it worth it? I am going to guess it was during a conference at a prior job. We were in Rio de Janeiro at some lavish dinner function, and everything looked plastic and perfect. The main course was steak, so I opted out - but I did have some wonderful cheeses, about 30 servings of the worlds most beautiful tropical fruits, some veggies I'd never tried before, and our table must have consumed 30 bottles of French champagne.
2. What do you like to do when nobody is looking? Sleep. I don't like being watched while I am sleeping.
3. What's your special purpose? According to www.brunching.com/cyborger.html, its that my special purpose is to be: Mechanical Intelligent Construct Hardwired for Efficient Learning and Logical Exploration. I'm clearly living up to my name.
4. Do you like Autumn? If so, why? If not, tell me about your favorite season. Yes, I like Autumn. I love the colors, the relief from the heat, the crisp mornings, the rainy days, all the 3 day weekends...and somehow I am wired to think that buying new clothes is perfectly OK and not to be considered splurging in the Fall. Perhaps that is due to all the "back to school" shopping when I was a kid?
5. Ever recommended a movie to someone only to have them hate it? Which movie? Did you feel uncomfortable about that? Hardly anyone likes my favorite movie. That makes me unhappy. I feel like I have to defend the movie to people, but I've yet to convince anyone to change their minds.
6. I've had hay fever all day! Sniffles, sneezing, I tell ya, it's awful! Do you have any allergies? Anything that just gets you down for the count? YES! I have them, and I hate them. Especially since they tend to lend themselves to sinus infections.
7. Do you like mixed drinks? What is your favorite? As long as we're here how about you order me something too? Just "suprise me!" I do like mixed drinks - G&T in the summer, hot cocoa and whisky in the winter.
BONUS: Why do we scream at each other?... this is what it sounds like, when doves cry (insert high pitched screeching here)
