Last Blog Before Becoming a Homeowner
Yahoo! News - No Bunker where U.S. Bombs Targeted Saddam-CBS This article stops short of actually saying that Rummy and the boys were lying about this BunkerBlastin' incident. In fact, it is unclear if the article is saying that this story had been made up to get the world into the whole "war thing", or if it was some kind of intelligence mistake. I'll be interested to see the Sunday morning talkshows this week!
Blogger's website seems to be down, and I am attempting to post via "BlogThis!" I kind of hope it works, because I don't think I'll be able to be online again until tonight. The walkthrough for my condo is at noon. I've been up since 6. I can't decide if I am really excited, really nervous, or just ate too soon before going to bed last night. In the meantime, I've been watching MTV2, which I get free (no cable TV for me) on channel 28 for several hours during the day.
Unfortunately, for most of the day, channel 28 broadcasts as KBC, which is the Korean Broadcasting Channel. Now, I love it that Chicago TeeVee has stations that broadcast in Russian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Korean, Chinese, Spanish and Polish. Sometimes I sit in front of those channels in the wee hours, and actually watch entire shows. I speak none of these languages except Spanish, and really, I only understand bits and pieces - you know, stuff pertaining to food.
But I digress. This morning, they had a run of videos on by groups I could actually sit and watch, like Radiohead. Their newest album, Hail to the Thief comes out soon I guess, and the first single is out. I don't have any idea of the name of the song I heard today, but it was very decent, and the video is appropriately creepy and funky, just like you''d expect. I also saw a commercial for one of those CD Compilations called, Rasta Jamz.. I have to admit to liking the commercial. Who knew I was a closet Shaggy Fan?
Ok, I have some cleaning to do before heading off to the walkthrough. Happy Bob Hope's birthday everyone!
